Our Charter

10 point Client Mutual Service Charter

For our clients.  We:

  1. Acknowledge that our responsibility is to give you our best advice as to how you are likely to achieve your overall recruitment objectives at optimum cost.  We will not “sell” our services other than in that context.
  2. Will be totally sensitive to all recruitment activities reflecting on a client “brand” and reputation, and do all we can to positively reinforce both.
  3. Will make our clients aware of additional recruitment-related services that can be offered by our organisation, but will not recommend these other than where they are directly related to a client need.
  4. Will provide management information at agreed frequency that enables a client to assess the cost benefit of our services.
  5. Will respond to all requests for services, support or information within 1 day, 7 days per week. Of course we aim to do better than this.
  6. Will not "pester" clients for recruitment advertising opportunities.  We will agree a way of working, and comply with that.

From our clients.  We need from you:

  1. Informed acknowledgement that Internet recruitment advertising is not likely to fill every position.  Any more than a press advertisement.  It has to be measured as part of an integrated recruitment strategy - an action appropriate for most (but not all) vacancies prior to escalating to a full employment agency service. We expect to achieve between 60% and 70% success.  Typical cost models show 30% as "break even”.
  2. An understanding that this is a recruitment advertising service, not an employment agency service.
  3. Feedback on appointments/rejections.  We need this in order to give you quality management information and improve our service.  We will provide straightforward and quick methods for giving us such feedback.
  4. Sensitivity to the problems that can be created by concurrently asking us to advertise a role and also briefing an employment agency.  It just results in competing advertisements

5 point Applicant Charter

We will:

  1. Never advertise a role without determining to the best of our reasonable knowledge that there is a genuine vacancy.

  2. Acknowledge every application.

  3. Not pass your name or contact details to our client without either you already knowing the client identity (expressly identified in the advertisement), or us telling you who is the client and having your permission to release your name and contact info.

  4. Do our best to ensure that comprehensive information about the role is provided to all applicants meeting the essential criteria for an advertised position.

  5. Will make it clear that we are an advertising agency, not an employment agency, and cannot give feedback on reasons for success or otherwise in a particular application.
